Seeking to put God's love into action, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Our vision is simple but bold: a world where everyone has a decent place to live. In a region where homeownership feels increasingly out of reach, we're closing the gap — building high-quality, energy-efficient homes and selling them with affordable mortgages to hardworking local families who invest their own sweat equity alongside our volunteers. But we don't stop at the front door. Our home repair and affordable rental programs help neighbors stay safely in the communities they love, and our ReStore turns donated furniture and building materials into funding for our mission (and treasures for savvy shoppers). Habitat homeownership builds more than houses — it builds equity, stability, and generational opportunity. And we can't do it alone. Whether you swing a hammer, sponsor a build, shop or donate at the ReStore, or bring your whole team out for a day of building and bonding, there's a place for you on our crew. Join us — because everyone deserves a place to call home.
